General Accounting & Payroll Specialist
Position Description
Perform a variety of specialized or technical clerical accounting and bookkeeping functions and possess a broad knowledge of accounting principles to apply in day-to-day tasks.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the company’s payroll activity with an established third party and be responsible for various payroll & benefit reporting and filing
- Close cash and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Perform “back office” sales processing and contract tracking
- Process all accounts payables, invoices & receivables for all sales and licenses and maintain accurate general ledger accounting detail
- Involved with monthly and annual closing processes and reporting duties
- Perform some analysis and assist in the compilation of information for tax and audit preparation along with other reporting requirements
- Expert for Great Plains enterprise/accounting system
- Responsible for enrollment and administration of benefit programs
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years accounting experience
- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Senior Research Scientist
Position Description
Research and develop state of the art image processing and pattern recognition algorithms for medical applications
Responsibilities
- Design and implement image processing and pattern recognition algorithms
- Work with product management and marketing to identify research requirements
- Aid in the development and creation of patents
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in advanced image processing and pattern recognition applications
- Must have industry experience with proven history of delivering commercially successful results in a timely manner
- Advanced degree (minimum M.S.) Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
- Strong analytical background with proven problem solving skills
- Strong Matlab skills
- Medical imaging application experience preferred
Research Scientist
Position Description
Research and develop state of the art image processing and pattern recognition algorithms for medical and other commercial applications
Responsibilities
- Apply expertise to creat solutions to medical imaging applications
- Conduct analyses of business, scientific, engineering and other technical problems
- Formulate mathematical models of problems for computer implementation
- Design, develop and implement techniques for analyzing images in MatLab
- Design, develop and maintain multimedia visualization systems in C++ on UNIX platform
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science
- One year experience
- Compensation commensurate with knowledge and experience
